Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Pizzaiolo
Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality pizzas following traditional and modern recipes
- Prepare doughs by hand or machine ensuring correct consistency and texture
- Ensure proper portioning of toppings and ingredients
- Monitor and maintain consistency in cooking times, temperatures, and pizza quality
- Operate pizza ovens effectively, ensuring pizzas are cooked to perfection
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
- Uphold hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pizza station and kitchen area
- Assist in creating new pizza recipes and specials as needed
- Collaborate with management to optimize menu offerings and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of pizza dough preparation, stretching, and shaping techniques
- Familiarity with traditional and contemporary pizza recipes and cooking methods
- Ability to operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Food handler’s certification or equivalent preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
